Our first blog from Vancouver as my very controlling, nagging sister has forced me to sit down and write it or she will withold my ever precious coffee from me. Unfortunately, she knows my weakness too well.
The attached picture is of my precious Cayden holding a picture of our precious Hammy who could not make the trip with us. Cayden brought the picture of Hammy so we wouldn't miss him so much. What a sweet boy!
Hey, she refilled my coffee cup! I guess I've fulfilled my quota for today. I'm sure I'll be back tomorrow as we are staying at Erin's for another nite. Stay tuned...........

Will Wonders Never Cease?!

Okay already! Enough nagging!! Here it is........time to celebrate! The first (who knows for how long it will be the only) blog entry for me. So...enjoy!

It's been an interesting day so far and it's only noon! Cayden went to preschool and they made Resurrection Eggs. They put items in plastic eggs that pertain to the Easter story. He remembers the meaning to almost all of them :) While he was at preschool, I had a dentist appointment - ick! No cavities though - my dreaded fear!!

After the dentist I went to Target to do a little shopping. Since it was too close to preschool being over to go home, I decided to kill some time and have some coffee at Barnes & Noble. When I left the store, there was a car in front dropping a woman off. I smiled and started towards the parking lot when I heard my name. I turned around and it was Siri Engstrom, a long time classmate of mine from elementary school through high school. While she and I were quickly catching up, Kathy Driesbach, the mother of another classmate of ours walked up and talked with us too! Two people that I have not seen in 15+ years all in five minutes! By the way Erin, Kathy says hi (and she thought I was you at first)!

So, we're off to the park later today for our weekly playdate - hope the weather holds out, it's a bit cloudy :(

How's that for my first try?????
